The National Institute of Tuberculosis and Respiratory Diseases (NITRD), which started from a humble beginning as a TB Hospital in 1956 is now an important part of the healthcare landscape of the Nation. It is providing dedicated service to the poorest of the poor who are at the forefront of bearing the havoc caused by tuberculosis and other lung diseases.

Eligible candidates are invited to appear for the walk in interview for the following contractual posts in the National Reference Laboratory under NTEP titled “External Quality Assurance and Drug Resistance Surveillance”.

Consultant Microbiologist, NRL
No. of Posts : One (UR)
Educational qualifications : M.D. Microbiology / Ph.D. Medical Microbiology / Applied / General Microbiology or related field along OR M.Sc. Medical / Applied / General Microbiology with
Experience : 3 years of work experience in Bacteriology. 5 years of work experience in Bacteriology
Remuneration : Rs. 65000/- per month (fixed)

Biotechnologist NRL
No. of Posts : One (UR)
Educational qualifications : Ph.D. in Biotechnology / Molecular Biology OR M.Sc. Biotechnology/Molecular Biology
Experience : 3 years of work experience in TB/ Bacteriology / Biotechnology / Molecular Biology 5 years experience in TB / Bacteriology / Biotechnology/ Molecular biology
Remuneration : Rs. 65000/- per month (fixed)

Senior Laboratory Technician (Sr. LT)
No. of Posts : Four (UR-2, OBC-1, SC-1)
Educational qualifications : M.Sc. Medical Microbiology/ Applied/General Microbiology / Biotechnology / Biochemistry with or without DMLT OR B.Sc. Microbiology/ Biotechnology6 Biochemistry6 Chemistry/ Life sciences with or without DMLT
Experience : 3 years of work experience in TB/ Bacteriology 5 years of work experience in TB/ Bacteriology.
Remuneration : Rs. 30,000/- per month fixed

Biomedical Engineer

Educational qualifications : B.E./B. Tech in Biomedical Engineering
Experience : 3 years of work experience in relevant field
Remuneration : Rs. 65000/- per month (fixed)

Data Analyst
No. of Posts : One (UR)
Educational qualifications : Degree in Computer application. Should be proficient in data analysis and Statistical packages
Experience : Two years of work experience in related field
Remuneration : Rs. 30,000/- per month (fixed)

4. This is purely based on Contractual basis with fixed emoluments for a period of one year and extendable after satisfactory performance.
5. The reservation policy will be as per Govt. of India guidelines for the above posts. (Total reservation 49.5% including 27% for OBC, 15% for SC and 7.5% for ST category) 6. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
