The college was established in 1963 with the name as Malaviya Regional Engineering College, Jaipur as a joint venture of the Government of India and the Government of Rajasthan, Subsequently; on June 26, 2002 the college has been given the status of National Institute of Technology and on 15 August 2007, Proclaimed Institute of National Importance through Act of Parliament. The Institute is fully funded by Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), Government of India. More than 12,000 students have already been graduated since its establishment.

Post : Project Fellow

Applications are invited for the position of Project Fellow to work in the “DST-INSPIRE” research project entitled “Solar Redox Flow Battery: The Capture, Storage and Recovery of Renewable Solar Energy” under the supervision of Dr. Himmat Singh Kushwaha, Materials Research Centre, MNIT Jaipur, Rajasthan. The position is purely temporary and co-termination with the completion of the project. Initial appointment will be for one year, which can be extended upto two more years based on candidate's performance.

Qualification :
Essential: M.Sc in Physics/ Chemistry or M.Tech in Nanotechnology/ Materials Science/ Nanoscience or equivalent discipline with minimum 60 % marks or CGPA 6.75 (on 10 point scale)

Fellowship : Rupees 18000 pm

Duration : One year (Extendable up to two more year based on the performance)

1. Selection committee of MNIT Jaipur reserves the right to fix suitable criteria for short- listing of eligible candidates.
2. Candidates will be short listed for the interview based on merit and experience of the available candidates. Decision of selection committee will be final. The date and time of interview will be informed by email only.
3. Please note that no TA/DA will be given to the candidates called for the interview.
