The Central Council for Research in Ayurvedic Sciences (CCRAS) is an autonomous body of the Ministry of Ayush, Government of India. It is an apex body in India for the formulation, coordination, development, and promotion of research on scientific lines in the Ayurveda of medicine.

Walk in interview for the following positions under ABIHR project “Preclinical Toxicological Evaluation and Safety Pharmacology of selected Ayurvedic Formulations- Laksha Guggulu, Dadimadi Ghrita and Ekangaveera Rasa” will be held on following Schedule at Regional Ayurveda Research Institute, Kothrud, Pune - 411038 (M.S.). Selection procedure will comprise of a written test followed by interview of the written test qualified candidates, on the same day. The details of qualification and experience are as under.
1. Project Research Scientist I (Non-Medical)

Essential Qualification : Master’s Degree in Toxicology / Pharmacology / Biochemistry / Biotechnology / Veterinary Pathology
Maximum Age limit : 35 years
Remuneration : Rs. 56,000 per month plus 30% HRA

2. Project Technical Support II

Essential Qualification, Experience : B.Sc (with biology/ biotechnology/microbiology)/ B.Pharm + 2 years animal handling experience
Maximum Age limit : 30 years
Remuneration : Rs. 20,000 per month plus 30% HRA

3. Project Technical Support III

Essential Qualification, Experience : Bachelor Degree in Life Sciences with 03 years experience OR Master Degree in Life Sciences
Maximum Age limit : 35 years
Remuneration : Rs. 28,000 per month plus 30% HRA
Date and time of Interview : 29/01/2026 at 10.00 am
General Conditions
1. Age will be determined as on 01/01/2026. Age relaxation will be given to SC/ST/OBC candidates as per Govt. Rules.
2. Duration of the project is three years.
3. The engagement will be purely temporary on contract basis and initially for a period of six months which is extendable to next six months subject to performance of the fellow. No claim for continuation or regular appointment will be entertained.
4. Applicants should bring their original certificates of educational qualification and experience, proof of age, etc with a set of photocopies and two passport size photographs.
5. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the written test/interview
6. For post of Sr. No. 1 preference will be given to the candidates having experience of conducting systemic toxicity, genotoxicity and reproduction toxicity studies.
7. For post of Sr. No. 3 preference will be given to candidates having experience animal studies, animal histpathology techniques, biochemistry analysis and cell culture work.
