Post : Research Associate (01)

Brief description : This project involves the design and development of an exosuit, a soft wearable robotic device, for upper limb augmentation. The work is interdisciplinary and brings together researchers from various disciplines including control, brain- machine interface, biomechanics, materials, machine learning and human physiology. Your role is to design and develop learning- based control systems for soft wearable robots.

Consolidated fellowship : Rs.58,000/- p.m. plus HRA @ 27%

Qualifications : PhD /MD/MS/MDS/M Des or equivalent degree or having 3 years of Research, Teaching and design & Development experience after MVSc/M.Pharma/ M.E/M-Tech with at least one research paper in science citation (SCI Journal). Essential : Person having a strong background in Design Innovation and Development, Human Factors & Ergonomics in wearable robotics, Product Sketching & Ideation, CAD Modeling (for prototyping, fabrication, manufacture), 3D rendering. Prototype fabrication skills (Fabric Stitching, Pattern making, 3D printing), Usability testing, Industrial Design Process methods, Mechanical testing. 
Desirable skills : Candidate with prior knowledge and hands on experience in CAD modeling. 3D printing and Mechanical design / fabrication.
