Public Service Commission announces 9 openings for Pharmacy Graduates

Advertisement No.-109/2025, Online applications are invited from eligible Indian candidates in the prescribed format for the appointment of total-09 (nine) vacancies of Project Manager under Bihar Udyog Seva Cadre under the control of Industries Department, Bihar. Essential Qualification:- (i) At least Second Class or equivalent degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering or Civil Engineering or Metallurgical Engineering or Textile Engineering or Chemical Engineering or Computer Engineering or Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering or any other branch of Engineering.
or
(ii) At least Second Class Degree in Economics or Mathematics or Statistics or Physics or Chemistry from a recognized University. (Degree means Honors Course)
or
(iii) MBA from any institute recognized by All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE). Degree/P.G. Diploma.
or
(iv) Degree in Pharmacy from an Institute / University recognized by All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE).
or
(v) Membership obtained from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India.
or
(vi) Membership of the Institute of Cost and Works Accountants of India.
or
(vii) Degree or equivalent qualification recognized by All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE) in Silk Technology / Management.
or
(viii) Degree or equivalent qualification in Leather Technology from any Institute / University recognized by All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE).

Age Limit : Minimum 21 years as on 01.08.2025 & Maximum Unreserved (Male)- 37 years, Backward Class / Very Backward Class (Male & Female) & Unreserved Female 40 years & Scheduled Caste / Scheduled Tribe (Male & Female)- 42 years.
(i) In the light of Department of Personnel and Administrative Reforms, Bihar letter No.-212, dated- 23.01.2006, those candidates who are eligible on the basis of the upper age limit mentioned above from 01.08.2020 to 01.08.2025 will also be eligible for the advertisement provided they fulfill other qualifications and on the candidature of the candidates retiring during the recruitment process. Will not be considered.
(ii) In the light of Resolution Memorandum-2374, dated-16.07.2007 of Department of Personnel and Administrative Reforms, Bihar and Resolution Memorandum-22218 of Department of General Administration, dated-12.12.2022, a relaxation of 05 (five) years is conceivable for a regularly appointed Government servant of Bihar Government, but the permission to appear in the competitive examination during the relaxation period of the said age limit can be given only if A maximum of 05 (five) opportunities have not been availed by him till then. In case of claiming relaxation in age limit for Government of Bihar government servant, it will be mandatory to submit the certificate issued by the competent authority. A maximum total of 05 (five) opportunities to appear (sit the examination) in the competitive examinations conducted by the Bihar Public Service Commission will be envisaged for the Bihar Government Government Servants in their entire service period after joining the service.
(iii) Relaxation of 10 years in the maximum age limit to persons with disabilities in addition to the maximum age limit in the light of General Administration Department, Bihar Resolution Memorandum-962, dated-22.01.2021. In the event of making a claim, it will be mandatory to submit the certificate issued by the competent authority. It will ensure that the certificate is valid till the last date of application.
(iv) In the light of the letter of the General Administration Department, ex-servicemen will be given a relaxation equivalent to the sum of 03 (three) years in age limit and length of service spent in defense service, provided their actual age does not exceed 57 years on the date of application. Ex-servicemen will be required to submit the relevant certificate in case of claiming relaxation in age limit.

Note:- (1) In the course of online application, some information is collected from the candidates only for updating the database. If any kind of exemption related to the said information is not written in the advertisement, then his claim will neither be valid nor his benefit will be payable. The notices/conditions/information/disclaimer of any kind mentioned in the advertisement shall be final.
(b) Candidates shall be required to submit original copies of the following certificates issued by the competent authority when asked by the Commission at the time of document verification/interview-
(i) Matriculation certificate / mark sheet (for proof of date of birth).
(ii) Certificate conforming to the mandatory qualification mentioned in condition-3 of the advertisement.
(iii) Mark-sheet conforming to the mandatory qualification mentioned in condition-3 of the advertisement.
(iv) Those candidates, whose mark sheet is marked with grade instead of marks, must obtain the formula for converting the said grading system into percentage from their university and enclose it with their application, otherwise their grade will be calculated as percentage based on the formula provided by AICTE for converting the grade into percentage.
(v) Certificate without Creamy Layer for Most Backward Class Candidates (Certificate without Creamy Layer issued in Father's Name & Address for Female Candidates)
(vi) Caste and permanent residence certificate for Scheduled Caste candidates (caste and permanent residence certificate issued in father's name and address for female candidates).
(vii) Permanent Residence Certificate issued in the name and address of father for unreserved category women candidates who are permanent residents of the State of Bihar.
(viii) Applicants claiming Economically Weaker Class (EWS), certificate to that effect issued by the competent authority in the prescribed form in the light of Government of Bihar Notification No-2622, dated-26.02.2019.
(ix) A valid certificate issued by the competent authority in the prescribed form in case of claiming disability.
(x) Certificate issued by the Competent Authority in Schedule-1 and Affidavit in Schedule-II attached to the above notification in case of claiming dictaphone and other facilities to the candidates suffering from disabilities as per General Administration Department, Government of Bihar Letter No.-10668, Dated-29.06.2022 & Letter-2568, Dated-11.02.2025.
(xi) Certificate issued by competent authority in case of Government servant of Bihar Government claiming relaxation in age limit.
(xii) Ex-servicemen in case of claiming age relaxation certificate to that effect.
(xiii) No Objection Certificate issued by the competent authority for participating in the examination if appointed to any post under the Central Government, Government of Bihar or any other State Government.
(xiv) Identity Card (with photo), as claimed in the application.
(xv) 4 passport size photographs recently taken.
(xvi) Hard copy of online application form filled for written examination.
It will be mandatory to present the above certificate at the time of document verification. If a candidate submits an incomplete / incorrect certificate at the time of document verification, he/she will be given one last opportunity to correct the error. If the candidate is not able to submit the correct certificate even after the specified period, then on the basis of the merits and demerits of the available evidence, after checking his eligibility at each stage from the beginning of this selection process/examination till now and he is found eligible and successful in all the stages, he will be considered finally successful.

Fees:- 100/- (Rupees One Hundred) examination fee only is to be deposited by each candidate in the light of Resolution Memorandum-15568 dated-21.08.2025 of General Administration Department, Bihar.
Note :- (i) Candidates who do not enter Aadhaar No. as Identity Card in the online application will have to pay an additional fee of Rs.200/- (Two Hundred) as Biometric fee.
