The PGIMER owes its inception to the vision of late Sardar Partap Singh Kairon, the then Chief Minister of Punjab and the distinguished medical educationists of the then combined state of Punjab, supported by the first Prime Minister of India Pt. Jawahar Lal Nehru who considered the institutions of scientific knowledge as temples of learning and the places of pilgrimage.
Post : Project Scientist-I
Applications are invited for the post of Project Scientist-I for the ICMR-funded project (Sanction no.) to be carried out in the Department of Pharmacology, PGIMER, Chandigarh.
Essential Qualifications (as per ICMR norms)
• First Class Postgraduate Degree in M.Sc. / M.Tech/ M.Pharm. in Life Sciences / Pharmaceutical Sciences / Biotechnology / Pharmacology or allied subjects with 2 years of research experience.
OR
• Ph.D. in relevant subject
Age Limit : 40 years
