National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research (NIPER), Kolkata, is an Institute of National importance under the Department of Pharmaceuticals, Ministry of Chemicals & Fertilizers, Government of India. NIPER Kolkata has established a Centre of Excellence (CoE) in Flow Chemistry and Continuous Manufacturing.
Post : Junior Research Fellow (JRF)
Applications are invited from Indian citizens for filling up the following post of junior Research Fellow under the Center of Excellence, Dept. of Pharmacology and Toxicology of NIPER Kolkata.
No. of position : 01
Duration : The appointment will be for twelve months only, which shall be extended upon satisfactory performance until the termination of the project.
Minimum qualification : M.Tech / M.S (Pharm) / M.Pharm in Pharmacology / Biotechnology / Pharmaceutics with minimum 60% marks in degree.
Desirable qualifications : Candidates with experience in antibody development or pharmaceutical formulation and biological evaluation will be given priority
Emoluments : Rs. 37,000/- per month with admissible HRA
Age limit : Not more than 28 years as of the date of advertisement with relaxation to SC/ST/OBC/Female/PWD candidates as per Govt. of India norms.

Terms and conditions
1. The above position is purely contractual and initially for 1 year.
2. The engagement would be purely on a contractual basis and co-terminus with the project and no claim for continuance of regular appointment will be entertained.
3. GPAT/NET/GATE qualification is mandatory. Further, selected candidate should appear for NIPER-JEE in subsequent year and register for PhD program of the Institute.
4. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
5. Canvassing in any form will disqualify the candidature.
