Job Description
• Dispense prescribed medications accurately and efficiently to patients.
• Review and verify prescriptions for dosage, drug interactions, and contraindications.
• Provide patient counseling on medication usage, dosage, side effects, and storage.
• Maintain and update patient medication records and documentation.
• Manage inventory of medicines, consumables, and pharmacy supplies.
• Ensure safe storage, handling, and disposal of drugs as per regulatory guidelines.
• Monitor and maintain controlled drug registers as per statutory compliance.
• Ensure billing and pricing accuracy of medicines and OTC products.
• Promote health awareness and recommend OTC medicines and wellness products when appropriate.
• Maintain cleanliness, safety, and standard operating procedures (SOPs) within the pharmacy.
• Ensure customer satisfaction through professional, polite, and efficient service delivery.

Candidate Profile
• Diploma / Bachelor’s degree in pharmacy (D.Pharm / B.Pharm).
• Valid Pharmacy License / Registration with the State Pharmacy Council.
• Strong knowledge of drugs, dosage, side effects, and interactions,
• Accountability, reliability, and ethical practice, Communication and interpersonal skills, Pharmacy inventory and billing management.
• 2–3 years of experience
• Should have hands-on experience in retail or hospital pharmacy operations.
• Ability to dispense medications accurately and verify prescriptions with strong attention to detail.
• Must be knowledgeable about drug compositions, dosage, interactions, and regulatory compliance.
• Demonstrates excellent customer service skills with the ability to counsel patients professionally and clearly.
