ILBS opens research opportunities for pharmacy professionals

The Institute of Liver and Biliary Sciences (ILBS) is a tertiary care, super-specialty hospital located in Vasant Kunj, New Delhi, India. It was established in 2009 by the Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi as an autonomous institute under the Societies Registration Act, 1860. The ILBS is a mono-superspeciality hospital, which means that it provides primarily liver and biliary care. This focus on a single organ system allows the institute to achieve a high degree of expertise in the diagnosis and treatment of liver and biliary diseases.

Post : Research Associate (01 post)

Applications are invited for the following posts on contractual basis for the project entitled “Evaluation of the Efficacy of Albumin Gene Therapy Using Adeno Associated Virus 3 Vectors in animal models of Cirrhosis” latest by 4/01/2026 or 11 days from the date of advt. through the prescribed application form (appended below) at the Institute of Liver & Biliary Sciences, D-1, Vasant Kunj, Delhi-110070 along with a write-up (an idea which you would like to do).

Consolidated Remuneration per month (in INR) : Rs. 58,000+applicable HRA

Eligibility Criteria / Qualification and Experience : Qualification/eligibility : Ph.D. (in a science or engineering subject) or MD/MS/MDS (in medical science subject) or ME/MTech/MPharm/MVSc with three years R&D experience as on the last date of application, evidenced from RAship or associateship or from date of registration of PhD. Important: Experience in AAV, FV production and transduction. Other preferences: CSIR-NET Reasonable knowledge and experience in molecular biological techniques, ability to carry out cell culture, and virus isolation, a general knowledge in animal handling.

Age Limit : The upper age limit for applying for award of RA shall be 35 years. The upper age limit is relaxable upto 5 years in the case of applicants belonging to scheduled castes/scheduled tribes, physically handicapped and women applicants whereas 3 years in case of OBC (Non- Creamy Layer candidates).
