The PGIMER owes its inception to the vision of late Sardar Partap Singh Kairon, the then Chief Minister of Punjab and the distinguished medical educationists of the then combined state of Punjab, supported by the first Prime Minister of India Pt. Jawahar Lal Nehru who considered the institutions of scientific knowledge as temples of learning and the places of pilgrimage.
Applications invited for filling up ONE post of Senior demonstrator (Non-medical, un-reserved) in the Department of Translational & Regenerative Medicine, PGIMER, Chandigarh, purely on ad-hoc basis till the post is filled on regular basis.
Post : Senior Demonstrator
Qualification :
1. Masters degree in Biotechnology / Biochemistry / Life Sciences / Immunology / Cell Biology/ Pharmaceutical sciences (MSc/MTech/ MPharm).
2. Ph.D. in the related subject.
Desirable qualifications : Experience (documented) in research and teaching in Stem cell biology/ Regenerative Medicine.
Age limit : 37 years (relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST candidates and 3 years for OBC candidates)

In case the number of eligible candidates exceeds FIVE times the number of vacant positions, a screening test may be conducted on 8th Feb, 2022 at 10:00 AM. List of shortlisted candidates will then be displayed on the departmental Notice Board (as well as informed by email) for an interview to be held on 8th Feb., 2022 at 3:00 PM in the office of the undersigned. No TA/DA is admissible for appearing in screening test/interview. No separate letters will be issued for the Interview.
