National Research Institute of Ayurveda for Drug Development ( NRIADD), Kolkata as the peripheral research Institute under Central Council for Research in Ayurveda & Siddha ( CCRAS) , Department of AYUSH, Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Government of India was established as Regional Research Institute (Ay) first time on 24th April, 1972 at Jagannath Dutta Lane, Kolkata-9 and then the Institute was shifted to Bidhannagar, Kolkata- 700 091 on 20th March 1997 in its own building. The Institute was upgraded as Central Research Institute (Ay) on 1997.

Diploma in Pharmacy / D.Pharm.(Ay.) from recognized University /Institution with two years experience in recognized Ayurvedic Hospital OR B.Pharm.(Ay.)
Age: 27 years as on 01.01.2016.

General Conditions:
The candidates should apply on plain paper addressed to the Director, National Research Institute of Ayurvedic Drug Development, 4-CN Block, Sector-V, Bidhannagar, Kolkata-700091 within 30.01.2016 with Bio-data along with two nos. of recent passport size photographs and self attested photo copies of supportive documents. The envelope to be superscribed the post applied for.
1.The posts are temporary but likely to continue. The fresh appointees shall be governed by new pension scheme. The candidates selected will be on probation for two years and is transferable anywhere in India under the Council’s Institute/Centers/Units.
2.Age relaxation will be admissible for SC/ST/OBC/PH/persons in Govt. Service as per Central Govt.(DoPT) rules in force. Experience would be determined as on the last date of receipt of applications.
3.The application for the above post(s) is to be submitted within 30.01.2016. The applications received after due date will not be considered under any circumstances.
4.Number of post is subject to variation.
5.Persons already in service must submit their applications through proper channel. While forwarding applications of in service candidates, Head of the Institutions should certify that the applicants are free from Administrative and Vigilance angle and that no vigilance proceedings are pending or contemplated. Photocopies of ACRs dossier of the candidate(s) for the last five years may also be forwarded along with application in sealed covers.
6.Selection will be based on the performance in written test and in interview. Only those candidates who qualify in the written test will be called for the interview.
7.Late applications / incomplete applications / application without attested copies of documents academic qualification, age and cast will summarily be rejected.
8.Director (Institute) reserves the right to cancel the advertisement without assigning any reason.
9.Only SC/ST candidates called for interview will be paid second class fare by shortest route on production of valid documents.
10.Canvassing in any form will be a disqualification.
