Regional Centre for Biotechnology (RCB) is an Institution of National Importance established through an Act of Indian Parliament by the Department of Biotechnology, Govt. of India under the auspices of UNESCO. The primary focus of RCB is to provide world class education, training and conduct innovative research at the interface of multiple disciplines to create high quality human resource in disciplinary and interdisciplinary areas of biotechnology.
Post : Project-SRF
Title of Project : Deciphering the molecular mechanisms that drive Orai3 expression and regulate Orai3 mediated pancreatic cancer progression.
Duration : Initially for 06 months, may be extended after evaluation on annual basis.
Essential Qualifications : M.Sc. in Biotechnology / Life Sciences with at least 70% marks. Candidate must have qualified National Level JRF fellowship such as CSIR/UGC/DBT JRF and must have two years' experience in pancreatic cancer biology as evident from his/her publiciations.
Desirable : Preference would be given to candidates who have published on pancreatic cancer biology in SCI indexed journal/s.
Age : up to 32 years

Fellowship : Rs.53,340/- Consolidated including HRA per month.
