IMTech Invites Pharmaceutical Sciences Candidates for Research Positions

Established in 1984, the Institute of Microbial Technology (IMTech) is one among the chain of 37 national laboratories, 6 units and 39 outreach centres of the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research. Set-up to be a fore-runner in the niche domain of microbial biotechnology, the Institute in its initial years functioned from a start-up laboratory that provided a truly world-class R&D ambience in an area of over 10,000 sq. ft. to its researchers.

Essential Qualification :
Masters / Integrated Masters in Natural or Agricultural or Pharmaceutical Sciences / MVSc/ Animal Sciences. OR
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Technology or Medicine from a recognized University.

Desirable : Experience in python / R, AI / machine learning and exposure to outreach projects.

Monthly Emoluments : Rs.31,000/- +HRA for those candidates who have qualified CSIR-UGC/ICAR/ICMR NET incl. lectureship/ assistant professorship or GATE OR those who have qualified National level examinations conducted by Central Government Departments like DBT/DST or equivalent and/or their Agencies/Institutions.
2. Rs.25,000/- +HRA for others who do not fall under (1) above.
