Regional Centre for Biotechnology (RCB) is an Institution of National Importance established through an Act of Indian Parliament by the Department of Biotechnology, Govt. of India under the auspices of UNESCO. The primary focus of RCB is to provide world class education, training and conduct innovative research at the interface of multiple disciplines to create high quality human resource in disciplinary and interdisciplinary areas of biotechnology.
Post : BRIC-BIRAC Post Doc Entrepreneur-in-Residence (EIR) fellow
Title of Project : “An agro-chemical which inhibits the ABA biosynthesis proteins or anion channels that regulate stomatal opening inspite of ABA accumulation".
Number of Position : 01 (One)
Age Limit : Below 45 years
Duration : Initially for one year, and can be extended on an annual basis.
Essential Qualifications : PhD in Life Sciences/Biotechnology/Molecular Biology / Biochemistry / Agriculture / Physiology / Agronomy or any other related subject.
Desirable Qualifications : Experience in plant molecular biology / Plant physiology and agronomy assays.
A candidate with more than 2 years of research experience in a relevant area/ industry exposure/ regulatory affairs
with expertise, will be preferred. Candidate should be motivated, enthusiastic, hardworking and a team player with
good interpersonal skills.

Fellowship : 1.30 lakhs per month
