Applications are invited from highly motivated and bright candidates for engagement of Project Senior Research Fellow (SRF) in the research project funded by ‘AYUSH-CCRUM’, Government of India at Institute of Nano Science and Technology, Mohali.
Post : Senior Research Fellow (SRF)
Title of the Research Project : Effect of unani formulations (Dawa-e-Sahaj, Jawarish-e-Mastagi, Qurs-e-Gul) for Inhibition of NLRP3 inflammasome activation : A strategy to mitigate inflammation for the therapy of Ulcerative Colitis disease.
Number of positions available : 01
Essential Qualification : Master's degree in Life Sciences (Botany, Zoology, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Biomedical Sciences, Bioscience) with NET / GATE and 2 years of research experience.
Desirable Experience : Cell culture experience.
Age limit : Must not be over 32 years as on 24th February, 2026 which is relaxable for certain reserved categories as per rules of Government of India.
Fellowship : 42,000/-p.m. + 18% HRA
Duration : Initially six months and may be extended based on the performance of the candidate and the Availability of funds.

• The position is purely temporary and on contractual basis. The position is co-terminus with the project.
• No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
