Situated on the bank of sacred Ganges, amidst mountains and woods in the Yoga Capital of world-Rishikesh, All India Institute of Medical Sciences aims to serve country by imparting knowledge, providing excellent health-care at affordable cost and investing in the area of medical research. It was established under the Pradhan Mantri Swasthya Suraksha Yojna’s first phase and supported to be an autonomous body by the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (Amendment) Bill, 2012. Going with the mandate of Government of India, institute is fostering not only allopathy, but also the Indian methods- AYUSH.
Applications are invited from eligible Indian nationals for engagement of the following personnel purely on contractual basis for the operationalization of the BHISHM (Bharat Health Initiative for Sahyog, Hita and Maitri) Cube Project funded by the Disaster Management cell, under the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India, deployed at AIIMS, Rishikesh, under the Central Sector component of Pradhan Mantri Ayushman Bharat Health Infrastructure Mission (PM-ABHM) for the financial year 2025–26 (January to March).

• B. Sc Nursing or B.Pharm or D.Pharm from a recognized university
• Registered with Indian Nursing council or Pharmacist Council of India with 2 years of experience post qualification
B. Desirable :
• Working knowledge of computer applications

Job Description :
• Dispense medications as per treatment protocols.
• Maintain accurate and updated drug inventory within the BHISHM Cube.
• Ensure proper record-keeping of all pharmacy-related activities, including dispensing and stock movement.
• Assist in the procurement, replenishment, and management of essential drugs and medical supplies.
• Ensure compliance with pharmacy regulations, institutional policies, and quality standards.
• Assist in performing laboratory tests and diagnostic procedures as per medical requirements.
• Collect, label, and prepare biological samples for testing or analysis.
• Ensure proper storage, handling, and disposal of specimens, reagents, and medical supplies.
• Maintain accurate and updated records of laboratory tests, diagnostic procedures, and equipment maintenance. Assist with data entry, documentation, and basic analysis related to patient care and diagnostics.
• Perform other related duties as assigned to support effective functioning of the BHISHM Cube.
• Provide support in the maintenance, deployment, operation, and demobilization of BHISHM Cubes, in alignment with institute-specific SOPs.
• Any other activities assigned by the competent authority
Selection Process :
Selection will be made based on eligibility criteria, and include screening by written test/ interview, and date will be notified on the website as decided by the competent authority/ Nodal officer.
Notes
1. Applications not in the prescribed format will not be processed or accepted.

General Instructions
1. The appointments are purely contractual and temporary, valid only for the approved project period or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
2. The contractual engagement does not confer any right for regular appointment in AIIMS, Rishikesh.
3. Valid email ID and mobile number are compulsory.
4. Knowledge of Hindi is mandatory.
5. Remuneration is consolidated and inclusive of all allowances. No other allowances will be provided.
6. The number of posts may vary depending upon project requirements and administrative approval.
7. Qualification and experience should be in a relevant discipline/field and in a reputed institution/organization. The experience should have been gained after acquiring the essential qualification.
8. Qualification, experience, other terms, and conditions may be relaxed/ altered at the discretion of the Nodal Officer - BHISHM Cubes.
9. Only shortlisted candidates will be called for the walk-in interview. Decision of the Nodal Officer will be final. If the number of applications is very large, more stringent criteria than those specified above and a written test may be used to determine eligibility. 10. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
11. Incomplete applications and applications that are not in the prescribed format and those not fulfilling the essential criteria above are likely to be summarily rejected. Candidates may attach their CVs with the application form. However, applications with CV alone and without the prescribed form and certificates will be rejected.
12. Submission of wrong or false information at any stage during the process of selection or canvassing of any kind will lead to disqualification or even termination if detected after the person has been engaged.
13. The competent authority reserves the right to accept or reject any or all applications without assigning any reason. Written test, if required, will be conducted at AIIMS Rishikesh and the interviews for the post will be conducted in person on a specified date, at the discretion of the Nodal Officer. Date and time of the test/ interview will be notified at least 3 days in advance by email and on the AIIMS Rishikesh website.
