The PGIMER owes its inception to the vision of late Sardar Partap Singh Kairon, the then Chief Minister of Punjab and the distinguished medical educationists of the then combined state of Punjab, supported by the first Prime Minister of India Pt. Jawahar Lal Nehru who considered the institutions of scientific knowledge as temples of learning and the places of pilgrimage.
Post : Senior Research Fellow (Nos. = 1)
Applications are invited from candidates for the post of Senior Research Fellow in a DST-SERB funded project - “Dermal and systcmic pharmacokinetics........” as per details given below.
Qualifications : Post Graduate Degree in Basic Science OR Graduate / Post Graduate degree in Professional course selected through a process described through one of the following :
(a) Scholars who are selected through National Eligibility tests- CSIR-UGC NET including lectureship (Assistant Professorship) and GATE.
(b) The selection process through National level examination such as DST, DBT, ICMR, IIT, lISc etc.
Desirable : Preference will be given to the candidate with relevant project-related experience and hands on training (HPLC, LCMS/MS, PK studies, molecular studies).
Experience : 2 years of Research Experience
Upper Age limit : As per funding agency rules. Relaxation will be given as per GOI rules.
Remuneration : As per funding agency guidelines.
The engagement in the project is purely on a temporary basis maximum for the period of duration of the project. However, appointments will initially be offered for a period of one year to be extended on a yearly basis depending upon satisfactory performance and co-terminus with the project. Please note that it is not a PGIMER / SERB appointment and will not confer any right on the incumbent to any claim implicit or explicit on any position.
