Post : Senior Director / Associate Vice President (Head) - Early Discovery Biology
Desired Skills :
• Ph.D in Biochemistry / Cell & Molecular Biology with relevant post-doctoral experience.
• Deep understanding of cell signalling and cancer biology.
• 15+ years of experience in drug discovery projects, preferably in Oncology area.
• Cross-functional exposure, and a track-record of having led a scientific group in delivering multiple programs to clinical candidates.
Roles & Responsibilities :
• This is a leadership role involved in strategic (target selection, setting up a Target Molecular Profile for discovery programs, leading early discovery efforts) and operational (project and team mentoring) activities for early discovery stage.
• Extensive experience in NCE drug discovery.
• Experience of leading teams in different function areas of early discovery Biology (e.g. Structural Biology. Biochemistry, Protein Sciences).
• Demonstrated ability to communicate across different functions of drug discovery and define, represent, and champion project strategies.
• Track record of successfully leading drug discovery projects through target ideation /selection - candidate nomination.
