Regional Centre for Biotechnology (RCB) is an Institution of National Importance established through an Act of Indian Parliament by the Department of Biotechnology, Govt. of India under the auspices of UNESCO. The primary focus of RCB is to provide world class education, training and conduct innovative research at the interface of multiple disciplines to create high quality human resource in disciplinary and interdisciplinary areas of biotechnology.
Post : Project Research Scientist I (Non-Medical)
Title of Project : Establishment of Centre for Advanced Research for Rapid Development of Host-directed broad Antivirals (EMDR/CARE/12/2023-0000176).
Duration: Initially for 1 year, extendable till the duration of the project.
Age Limit : 35 Years
Essential Qualifications : Master’s degree in Life Sciences or associated fields with National Eligibility Test (NET) qualification, with a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent grade. Research experience and practical knowledge of mammalian tissue culture, molecular biology, virology techniques and experience in handling animal models is required.

Emoluments : Rs. 56,000/- + 18% HRA per month.
