Under the control of the Health Department, Pune Municipal Corporation, the following contractual vacant posts under the Integrated Health & Family Welfare Society for Pune Municipal Corporation, under the National Urban Health Mission (NUHM) and the 15th Finance Commission, are to be filled category-wise for the period up to 29/06/2026.

Pharmacist

Qualification : D.Pharm, Registration with MSPC/PCI Council is mandatory, preference will be given to candidates with experience.
Age limit : up to 65 years (For candidates above 60 years of age, a photocopy of the certificate of physical fitness from the District Surgeon is required)
Public Health Manager (PHM)

Qualification : MBBS or Graduate in Health Sciences (BDS/BAMS/BUMS/BHM S/BP.TH/Nursing Basic/(P.B.Bsc)/B.Pharm/+ MPH/MHA/MBA In Health Care Administration
Age limit : 18 to 38 years for open category, 18 to 43 years for reserved category
Terms and conditions
1) Interested candidates should submit their applications offline between December 16, 2025 and December 26, 2025 during office hours (excluding government holidays) at the Integrated Health and Family Welfare Society for Pune Municipal Corporation, New Building, 4th Floor, Shivaji Nagar, Pune 411005. After the scrutiny of applications, detailed information regarding the eligibility/ineligibility of candidates will be published on the Pune Municipal Corporation's website: pmc.gov.in.
Details of required documents to be submitted along with the application :
I) Passport size photograph,
II) Proof of date of birth (School Leaving Certificate/Birth Certificate),
III) Photo ID and Domicile Certificate
IV) Educational Qualification Certificates:
a) Mark sheet of the final year, b) Registration certificate, c) For the post of Pediatrician, additional educational qualification of MCI/MMC registration certificate is mandatory. For the post of Pharmacist, MSPC/PCI registration certificate is mandatory, d) Registration renewal certificate and e) Experience certificate. Other necessary true copies and attested copies in this regard.
2) These posts will be under the National Urban Health Mission (NUHM) committee, and will not have any connection with the Pune Municipal Corporation establishment. Also, according to the Government Resolution passed by the General Administration Department, Government of Maharashtra on August 25, 2005, any employee appointed on a temporary/ad-hoc basis to a post within the purview of the Public Service Commission cannot claim the right to be made permanent, regardless of the number of years of service.
3) If the application submitted by the candidate is incomplete, illegible, or otherwise deficient, and the application is rejected or the candidate is declared ineligible, the entire responsibility will rest with the concerned candidate. No complaints of any kind will be accepted from the candidates in this regard.
4) Please note that the application is being accepted only offline. The candidate must visit the National Urban Health Mission office in person to submit the application.
5) The total number of posts may change.
6) These posts are to be filled only for the period up to 29/06/2026, and the posts will automatically cease upon the closure of the project.
7) Female candidates must provide necessary documents regarding any change in their name (pre-marriage name, post-marriage name), including the marriage registration certificate.
8) As per the guidelines of the National Urban Health Mission, a decision will be taken regarding the next appointment (11 months and 29 days) after a one-day break in service.
9) The total percentage will be out of 100 marks.
10) Experience gained in government, semi-government, National Health Mission, local self-government institutions, or private organizations will be considered.
11) Candidates who exert any kind of political pressure will be disqualified from appointment. The Hon'ble Additional Municipal Commissioner (J), Pune Municipal Corporation, reserves the right to change or cancel the recruitment/appointment process at any stage without giving any reason.
12) Preference will be given to experienced candidates and those with higher educational qualifications. However, the final decision will be made by the administration.
13) Priority in posting will be given based on the merit ranking in the selection list. If a candidate uses any pressure tactics in this regard, their selection will be cancelled.
14) For the above posts, the selection process will involve screening the received applications, preparing a merit list based on marks, and selecting candidates based on merit. The decision of the selection committee will be final.
15) The applicant will not be able to demand a change of location during the contractual period.
16) After the completion of this recruitment process, if a vacancy arises in the future due to an employee's resignation, the next candidate on the merit list from the waiting list will be given an appointment order without conducting a new recruitment process. 17) This final list will be valid for the next 1 year after its preparation.
18) If a candidate is selected, they will have to submit an agreement on a bond paper of Rs. 500/-.
19) The correspondence address should be clear and complete.
20) Candidates are required to be present at the selection location at their own expense.
21) If it is found that the candidates have submitted false information/certificates/documents, or if they are found to have withheld any information at any time during the selection process or after the appointment has begun, they will be disqualified. Also, if appointed, their contractual appointment will be terminated without any prior notice.
22) Please note that the Pune Municipal Corporation has not authorized any individual or other organization to sell or accept application forms.
23) If a candidate is found to have attempted to exert pressure at any stage of the recruitment process, or to have adopted unfair means, or to have arranged for impersonators, they will be disqualified from the selection process.
24) Candidates are advised to be cautious of individuals who claim to be intermediaries for the Pune Municipal Corporation and offer to secure employment.
