NIPER-Kolkata is an autonomous premier institution of National Importance funded by the Department of Pharmaceuticals, Ministry of Chemicals and Fertilizers, Govt. of India for promoting high-quality Pharmaceutical Education and Research. Applications are invited from Indian citizens for filling up the following post of Senior Research Fellow under the Department of Pharmacology & Toxicology, NIPER Kolkata.
Post : Research Associate (One Post)
Title of the project : “Study on the molecular mechanisms of Podophyllum peltatum mother tincture and its dilutions on hepatocellular carcinoma: an in vivo study”
Duration : The project duration is 2 years. The appointment will be initially for ONE year, which may be extended further for one more year until the project completion, based on the candidate’s performance
Minimum qualification : PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences / Biological Sciences with experience in animal handling and experiments
Desirable qualifications : Research experience in in vitro and in vivo pharmacological studies.
Emoluments : Rs. 50,000/- per month consolidated
Age limit : Up to 40 years as on the last date of application, with relaxation to SC/ST, OBC, and female candidates as per government rules.
Date of the Interview : The shortlisted candidates will be informed by email about the interview date and time.
Terms and conditions
1. The engagement would be purely on a contractual basis and co-terminus with the project and no claim for continuance of regular appointment will be entertained.
2. The eligibility of candidates in respect of age will be determined as on date of interview & Relaxation in age for SC/ST/OBC candidates as per Govt. of India Rules.
3. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
4. Canvassing in any form will disqualify the candidature.
