NIPER-Kolkata is an autonomous premier institution of National Importance funded by the Department of Pharmaceuticals, Ministry of Chemicals and Fertilizers, Govt. of India for promoting high-quality Pharmaceutical Education and Research. Applications are invited from Indian citizens for filling up the following post of Project Research Scientist- I (Non-Medical) under ICMR funded project, Department of Biotechnology, NIPER Kolkata.
Post : Project Research Scientist-I (Non Medical)
Title of the project : “Translating Bispecific Aptamer Platforms into Targeted Therapies for Triple-Negative Breast Cancer”
Description of the project : “The project aims to engineer bispecific aptamer constructs for precision therapy and evaluate their efficacy through comprehensive in vitro and in vivo studies.”
Upper age limit (Yr) : 35 (Relaxation for SC/ST/OBC/WOMEN/PWD as per GoI Rules)
Educational qualification and experience/skill : • Post Graduate Degree, including the integrated PG degree in Medicinal Chemistry or Life Sciences [M.Sc / MS (Pharm.) / Equivalent]
• Candidate must have experience in Biomolecular engineering and in vitro evolution strategies
Salary (Rs) : 56,000/- with admissible HRA
Terms and conditions :
1. The above position is purely contractual for tenure of 48 months with annual evaluation and renewal or the termination of the project, whichever is earlier. The continuation of the fellowship is subjected to satisfactory performance.
2. Selected candidate will not be entitled to claim for regular appointment/absorption in the institute.
3. The eligibility of candidates in respect of age will be determined as on date of interview & Relaxation in age for SC/ST/OBC candidates as per Govt. of India Rules.
4. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
5. GPAT/NET/GATE qualification is mandatory.
6. Canvassing in any form will disqualify the candidature.
