Vacancy for Senior Research Fellow at Acharya & BM Reddy College of Pharmacy

Acharya & BM Reddy College of Pharmacy is a branch of Acharya Institutes (www.acharya.ac.in) which is spread over 120 acres of Wi-Fi-enabled campus. The institute is ARIIA ranked organization; DSIR recognized Scientific and Industrial Research Organization; accredited by NBA, NAAC, and LSSSDC; affiliated to Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Karnataka; and approved by AICTE and PCI. Having D. Pharm, B. Pharm, M. Pharm (six specializations), and Ph.D. programs, the Institute has received research funding from SERB, ICMR, AICTE, VGST, RGUHS, and private Industries.

Applications are invited from the eligible candidates to work as a Junior Research Fellow (JRF) in the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) sponsored project no.5/13/79/2020/NCD-III.

Project Title : Discovery of triangular heterocyclic molecules as inhibitors of dual oncogenic pathways triggered by HSP90 and BRAF kinase.

Duration : Three years


Job Description
The candidate shall pursue the drug design of novel Hsp90-BRAF inhibitors by bioinformatic tools. The designed compounds are to be synthesized chemically and characterized by analytical parameters. Lead compounds would be screened for in vitro cell proliferation assays and proteomics analysis of Hsp90-client protein interactomes.

Candidate Profile
Candidate experience in molecular modeling, chemical synthesis, and in vitro pharmacological screening are encouraged to apply

Education : M.Pharm / MS Pharm (Pharmaceutical Chemistry / Pharmacology). Candidates with GPAT/CSIR-NET or equivalent examination qualifications will be preferred.

Salary : Rs. 31,000/pm plus 24% HRA i.,e 7,440 (Total Rs. 38,400 per month)
