Job Description:

• Set Direction and Inspire
- Provides strategic unit direction to Country Brand Leads, Country Portfolio Managers, Assistant Brand Managers and cross-functional team in order to ensure optimal brand strategies development and implementations.
- Set clear expectation in terms of achievement and ways of working within and beyond the unit
- Ensures the development of optimal marketing strategies and timely implementation of marketing programs, in line with the approved marketing plans.
- Identifies and critically assesses innovative marketing strategies and business disruptive ways (bold moves) in order to maintain leadership within the organisation and the pharmaceutical domain
• Drive Performance and Profitability

- Ensures achievement of marketing objectives (Performance and Profitability) as per the marketing plans within his/her unit and collaborates to the achievement of the overall marketing plan and objectives supporting the Head of Marketing
- Ensures the Unit KPIs and Metrics are set, actively monitored and refined as necessary to ensure business achievement and unit profitability – Drive the CBL, CPM and/or ABM within the Team to have strong KPIs/Metrics and follow and adjusts them as deemed necessary

- Investments Optimization and Flexibility - Ensuring the A&;P budget and allocations are properly invested and optimized against the biggest opportunities within the unit and across marketing if necessary. Proactively reassess thru the year the allocation if necessary following business challenges and/or opportunities
- Works Proactively with the Head of Marketing, Channel Leads and Finance department on setting the LE decisions and rationale behind every decisions
• Coaching and Capabilities Development
- Ensures appropriate training and development of marketing personnel within the Team and beyond to ensure achievement of objectives and personal development goals.
- Set a culture of openness that allows for open challenge without retaliation – Speak freely to Speed up performance
- Drive knowledge acquisition and integration of MCM/D Tactics with the CBL,CPM, ABM in the Team
- Share any best practices in and out to ensure the integration of the One Pfizer value
- Work the Head of Marketing and GCO Lead to set the plan for short, mid and long term marketing team development plan
• Work Cross-Functionally ensuring Strategic Collaboration and Organisational execution – One Pfizer Approach
- Work in collaboration with the Regional Senior Marketing leaders to understand and set the direction and path, identify areas of collaboration, feed and receive facts, observations and insights relevant to the product grouping and beyond
- Collaborate with other cross functional departments directors/leads to ensure the strategic direction is one that shared and adopted across the organisation and that insights and knowledge is transferred to and from marketing, all in the spirit of senior strategic direction
- Liaises with the Channel Leads to ensure effective implementation of brand strategies and a One Pfizer Mindset

- Ensures effective liaison with all key stakeholders (internal and external).
- Work with other MUL to ensure cross pollination and strategic/innovative sharing breaking the silo approach and ensuring a One Pfizer approach
• Drive Innovation and Reshape the Pfizer Value Delivery

- Act as an advocate of the new marketing ways and redefined Pfizer Value Offering – Lead the assessment, development and execution of the transitional plan to rebalance investments between Innovation, Multi-Channel Marketing and HCP sponsorships.
- Instil a mindset of innovation and disruptive ideas (Bold Moves) within the Team
- Ensure the adoption, with Key brands and in cooperation with the MCML, of MCM/D tactics with the brand plans and as part of the given unit plan

 

Candidate Profile
• Bachelor Degree in Pharmacy or related field
• Master Degree in Business Administration or Marketing is a plus
Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Country Brand Lead or an equivalent experience who assumed the following role:

Responsibility in management of designated product/portfolio, including market analysis, financial planning, preparation of product plans and promotional materials. This would include new product launches where possible
Responsibility in developing, and achieving sales and profit objectives

Responsibility for management of designated portfolio, including market analysis, financial planning, preparation of product plans and promotional materials.
Track record in leading teams to goals achievement and team progress of advancement of an Innovative and Solution Oriented Mindset skills
Proven track record of successful business and goals achievement – overachievement is an obvious plus

Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work and manage highly capable teams
Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects with deadlines in a fast paced environment
Detail oriented, strong quantitative and analytical ability

Excellent planning, analysis and budgeting skills
Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills including strong presentation skills
Good in English Communication
Computer literate e.g. Microsoft Word, Excel, Power point
