Applications are invited from interested and motivated candidates for the post of Project Research Scientist-I (Non-Medical) on the research project sponsored by the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR). The position will be purely on contractual basis as per the following details.

Project Title : Microneedle-assisted chemo-photodynamic combination therapy for melanoma treatment integrated with real-time monitoring of cancerous lesions using thermal imaging

Project Tenure : 6 months, and extendable to 3 years
Co-PI : 1. Dr. Rajdeep Chowdhury, Department of Biological Sciences, BITS Pilani, Pilani Campus
2. Dr. Inamur Rahaman Laskar, Department of Chemistry, BITS Pilani, Pilani Campus
3. Dr. Radha Raman Mishra, Department of Mechanical Engineering, BITS Pilani, Pilani Campus
Job Description : The selected candidate will perform analytical method development, formulation development, in vitro cell line studies, and animal studies of designed formulations. Real-time monitoring of skin cancer lesions using thermal imaging. The candidate will analyze data, maintain documentation, and write reports and manuscripts.
Qualification : M.Pharm/ M.S.Pharm with specialization in Pharmaceutics, Biotechnology, Nanomedicine or equivalent. (GPAT/GATE/NET or DST Inspire fellowship will be preferred)
Desirable : Experience in HPLC methods, formulation design, in-vitro cell line, animal studies.
Upper Age Limit : 35 Years
Fellowship/Stipend : 56,000 Per month + 10 % HRA (if applicable, as per rules)
Registration for PhD : Selected candidates may be permitted to register for the PhD program of BITS Pilani, subject to fulfilling the requirements of the PhD qualification process as per the institute norms.
Selection Process : Candidates will be shortlisted based on their merit, experience, and the project's requirements. Shortlisted candidates will be informed of the interview, which will be conducted through online/offline mode. Mere possession of the minimum qualification does not guarantee an invitation to the interview.
