The PGIMER owes its inception to the vision of late Sardar Partap Singh Kairon, the then Chief Minister of Punjab and the distinguished medical educationists of the then combined state of Punjab, supported by the first Prime Minister of India Pt. Jawahar Lal Nehru who considered the institutions of scientific knowledge as temples of learning and the places of pilgrimage.
Post : Junior Research Fellow (1)
Applications (with resume) are hereby invited for the post of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) in the ANRF funded project titled "Epigenomic and transcriptomic patterns in patterns with common variable immunodeficiency: A whole genome sequencing based study" for a duration of 9 months. The post is purely on temporary basis.
Qualification : M.Sc. in Life Sciences (Biotechnology/Microbiology/Biochemistry/ other life science stream) and should be selected through a process described in any one of the following: a) National Eligibility Test (NET) CSIR-UGC NET including lectureship (Assistant Professorship) and GATE b) National level examination conducted by Central Government Department and its agencies and institutions such as DST, DBT, DAE, DOS, DRDO, MHRD, ICMR, MoE, ICAR, IIT, IISc, IISER, NISER, etc.
Salary : As per funding agency
