As per the requisition received from the Department of Medical Education and Drugs, Government of Maharashtra, applications are being invited through the prescribed online mode for the recruitment of a total of 109 posts of Drug Inspector, Group-B, Food and Drug Administration Cadre in the office of the Commissioner, Food and Drug Administration, Maharashtra State, Mumbai under the auspices of the Department of Medical Education and Drugs.

1. Indian Citizenship.

Minimum Age Limit Open Category / Reservation / EWS : 18 years
Maximum Age Limit Open : 38 year

Educational Qualification:- Possess a Degree in Pharmacy or Pharmaceutical Science or Medicine with specialization in Clinical Pharmacology or Microbiology.
Pharm.D
As per the feedback received from the Medical Education and Drugs Department of the Government vide Government Letter No. FDS-2024/Pr.No. 100/24/Drugs-1, dated 12th August, 2025, it has been informed that the educational qualification of Pharm.D will be accepted for Degree in Pharmacy or Pharmaceutical Science, taking into consideration the provisions of the notification dated 16th July, 2019 of the Department of Health and Family Welfare of the Central Government. Accordingly, applications are invited from eligible candidates holding the educational qualification of Pharm.D for the present cadre.
