Applications are invited from eligible candidates for engagement of the following post as per ICMR and Anna University norms in the ICMR, GOI-sponsored project entitled “X-ray crystal structure determination of V protein and its complexes from Nipah virus and Newcastle disease virus, structure-guided screening and validation of potential anti-V drugs” by ICMR, Govt. of India, under the supervision of Dr. Sangita Venkataraman, Centre for Biotechnology, Anna University, Chennai-25, for a period of one year, extendable based on performance till the end of the project.
Post : Project Technical Staff-III (PTS-III) - 01 Post
Essential Qualification : Master’s degree in Engineering/Technology/ Life Sciences such as Computational Biology / Bioinformatics/ Biotechnology from a recognized University / Institute and Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/Technology/Life Sciences.
Desirable : experience in Structural Biology/Computational Biology / Bioinformatics research
Upper age limit (years) : 35
Monthly Emoluments (Rs.) : Rs.28000 + 30% HRA = Rs. 36400/-
Key Responsibilities : Conducting research activities in line with the objectives of the ICMR Project, Crystallizing, collecting and analyzing data, ensuring accuracy and reliability, Collaborating with team members to achieve project milestones. Preparing reports, presentations, and publications to disseminate research findings. In addition, they may be assigned any suitable task by the PI of the project.
Emolument details of research personnel mentioned in the table shall be applicable only if the candidate meets the educational qualifications and eligibility criteria
