Post : Research Associate-I
Project title : Validation and techno-economic assessment of green energy powered CO2 to high-value chemical synthesis by integrated biobased and electrolyser technologies
PI : Dr. Sunil A. Patil, Associate Professor, Department of Earth and Environmental Sciences
Duration : Initially for 1 year with possibility of extension subject to satisfactory performance and availability of funds. Notice period for termination is 1 month.
Essential Qualifications : PhD degree in Microbiology, Biotechnology, Biological Sciences or Biosciences and Bioengineering or candiates having 3 years of research & teaching experience with a good academic track record with more than 60% marks/CGPA >6 throughout academic training/degrees, and at least one research paper in SCI journal.
Desired qualification : Prior experience in bioreactor designing and process optimization, anaerobic microbiology, LCA and TEA, and analytical techniques – electrochemical, HPLC, GC, etc., is advantageous.
Salary (per month) : INR 58,000 plus HRA as per DST project norms
