The Institute for Stem Cell Science & Regenerative Medicine Bangalore is an autonomous institute under the Department of Biotechnology, Ministry of Science & Technology, Government of India. BRIC-inStem’s mandate is to establish collaborative research programs in the field of stem cell biology, regeneration, and repair in development and disease, with an emphasis on translation. Monthly Emoluments : Rs. 56,000/m + 27% HRA
Qualification & Experience : Doctoral Degree in Science or Master’s Degree in Science or Technology with over 8 years of relevant experience in research and development activities in industrial and academic institutions.
Job Description :
• Responsible for carrying out recombinant Protein production and purification using E.coli, insect and mammalian cell cultures, protein crystallization, X-ray crystallography, ITC, SPR etc.; fragment screening using NMR techniques.
• Communicating effectively with medicinal and synthetic chemists.
• Excellent team player to work in a fast-paced, multi-disciplinary environmen
Tenure : Contractual appointment for 11 Eleven months, renewable based on requirement and review of progress and requirement of the Grant.

9. The incumbent will be required to conform to the rules and regulations of iBRIC-inStem in force from time to time and follow the discipline rules of the institute failing which the contract may be withdrawn at any point in time.
