The Institute for Stem Cell Science & Regenerative Medicine Bangalore is an autonomous institute under the Department of Biotechnology, Ministry of Science & Technology, Government of India. BRIC-inStem’s mandate is to establish collaborative research programs in the field of stem cell biology, regeneration, and repair in development and disease, with an emphasis on translation. BRIC-inStem invites applications (online) from eligible candidates for contractual position of following Scientific positions in the laboratory of Dr. Tina Mukherjee. We are looking for dedicated professionals who are result-oriented, can assimilate, analyze and communicate data effectively and are excellent team players capable of working in a fast-paced, multi-disciplinary environment.

Age : not more than 35 yrs
Essential Qualification : PhD in Life Sciences / Biological Sciences / Zoology or equivalent from a recognized university with 2-3 years of post-doctoral experience focused on vectors associated with animal or human diseases.
Experience : Prior experience in mosquito- borne disease research is an advantage. Previous working experience with BSL-2 level organisms is desirable
Job Description : To design and carry out research projects in the lab. Self-driven candidates interested in infectious disease research and with experience in parasitology, imaging, Molecular Biology, and mosquito infection research are preferred.
Tenure : Contractual appointment for 11 months, renewable based on requirement and review of progress and requirement of the Grant.

9. The incumbent will be required to conform to the rules and regulations of BRIC-inStem in force from time to time and follow the discipline rules of the institute failing which the contract may be withdrawn at any point in time.
