Applications are invited from motivated students for the position of Project Associate I in the Departments of Biological Sciences and Computer Science and Information Systems at BITS Pilani, K. K. Birla Goa Campus, Goa for a DBT sponsored research project titled “Developing Predictive Models for ‘druglikeness’ of small molecules” (BT/PR40236/BTIS/137/51/2022).

Broad areas of Research : Computational Biology, Bioinformatics, and In Silico Drug Design
Duration of the project : Five years (2022-2027)
Fellowship Amount (per month Rs.) : 31,000 + 8% HRA (for GATE/NET qualified candidates)
Accommodation : Hostel accommodation will be provided subject to availability and will be governed by the rules and regulations of the Institute prevailing at the time of joining of the candidate.
Qualification : Post Graduate Degree in Computer Science / Bioinformatics / Computational Biology / allied subjects with very good academic record throughout. Preference will be given to candidates with GATE/NET qualification and an experience with application of AI tools in biological/chemical systems. Relaxation norms of the government of India will be duly followed in short listing of the candidates.
