Regional Centre for Biotechnology, is an Institution of national importance established by the Department of Biotechnology, Govt. of India, with regional and global partnerships synergizing with the programmes of UNESCO. The primary focus of RCB is to provide world class education, training and conduct innovative research at the interface of multiple disciplines to create high quality human resource in disciplinary and interdisciplinary areas of biotechnology in a globally competitive research milieu.

Title of Project : Role of Endoplasmic Reticulum (ER) and Mitochondria in Pigmentation: Organelle calcium signaling perspective. Duration : Initially for 06 months and may be extended till the end of project (May-2026).
Essential Qualifications : M.Sc. in Biotechnology / Life Sciences with at least 70% marks. Candidate must have qualified National Level JRF fellowship such as CSIR / UGC / DBT JRF.
Desirable : Experience in handling mammalian cell culture and skills in microscopy & molecular biology are highly desirable.

Fellowship : Rs. 37,000/- + 27% HRA per month
