The Institute for Stem Cell Science & Regenerative Medicine Bangalore is an autonomous institute under the Department of Biotechnology, Ministry of Science & Technology, Government of India. BRIC-inStem’s mandate is to establish collaborative research programs in the field of stem cell biology, regeneration, and repair in development and disease, with an emphasis on translation. BRIC-inStem invites applications (online) from eligible candidates for contractual position of following Scientific position in the laboratory of Dr. Anandi Karumbati. We are looking for dedicated professionals who are result-oriented, can assimilate, analyze and communicate data effectively and are excellent team players capable of working in a fast-paced, multi-disciplinary environment.

Qualification & Experience : Doctoral Degree in Science with 3 years of experience in research and development
Job Description :
• Responsible for carrying out as well as supervising laboratory work such as fragments/hits co-crystallization and X- ray structure determination; Hit validation using various assays like ITC, thermal shift, dynamic light scattering and circular dichroism etc.,; Cloning, recombinant protein expression and purification
• Communicating effectively with medicinal and computational chemists
• Design, validate, document and troubleshoot laboratory experiments
• Must be detail-oriented, well organized with the ability to analyse and communicate data effectively
• Maintaining strict adherence to timeliness/punctuality scheduled in advance. Expedite completion of projects and ensure that appropriate turn- around goals are met.
• Prepare professional reports, presentations and lab records.
• Regular data analysis, project updates, literature surveys and presentation on the molecular targets
• Excellent team player to work in a fast- paced, multi-disciplinary environment
Tenure : Contractual appointment for 11 Eleven months, renewable based on requirement and review of progress and requirement of the Grant.
