Applications are invited for temporary positions of Junior Research Fellow sanctioned for the project funded by the Gates Foundation at the Institute for Stem Cell Science and Regenerative Medicine, Bengaluru- 560 065.

Post : Junior Research Fellow (JRF)

Remuneration : Rs.37,000 plus 27% HRA (Net Qualified)
Rs.25,000/- Plus 27% HRA (Non-Net Qualified)

Essential Qualification : Master’s Degree in Life Sciences from a recognised university or equivalent. Candidate should have at least one year of experience in molecular cloning, CRISPR/Cas9-based gene editing, human pluripotent stem cell culture, cell transfection, protein expression, basic molecular biology and imaging techniques, data analyses, project updates, literature surveys and presentations on the assigned work. Experience in next-generation sequencing, and data analysis using Linux, R, MATLAB or Python are desirable.

Tenure : Contractual appointment for eleven months, renewable based on the requirement and review of progress and the requirements of the Grant.
