IBAB provides high-quality opportunities for students to acquire an interdisciplinary education; for scientists to conduct basic or translational research; and for entrepreneurs to grow a start-up. IBAB was established as a non-profit Society, in 2001, by the Department of IT, BT and ST, Government of Karnataka. It was set up on the recommendation of the Vision Group on Biotechnology, an advisory body to the Chief Minister of Karnataka.
Applications are invited for Project Assistant position under the following project. Appointment shall be on contractual basis for a maximum duration of three months.
Title of the Project : To identify strategies for protein expression in mammalian cells via extensive biocuration and data analysis (CP0101)

Qualifications
1) MSc or MTech / ME in any Life Sciences subject with at least 50% of marks or 5.0 CGPA from a recognized university.
Desirable :
a) Experience in molecular docking and simulation
b) Programming skills
Scope of the Project : The position will involve molecular docking and simulation as well as occasional programming. The selected candidate may be offered accommodation in IBAB hostel, based on the availability.
IBAB reserves the right to fix higher criteria for short-listing of eligible candidates from those satisfying advertised qualification and requirement of the project post and their name will be displayed on the Institute website ( ibab.ac.in) along with the online interview details.
