To trace the history of Jadavpur University is to trace a part of India’s freedom movement, at least from the Swadeshi Movement onwards. It was 1905 -1906. Bengal stood divided. The times were feverish. The hegemony of the British establishment had to be challenged. Education had to play a new role in this changed scenario. It had to become a new form of resistance through which the emergent nationalist spirit could be propagated. With this in mind the National Council of Education (NCE) came into being.

A Walk-in-interview will be held at the office of Head, Dept, of Pharmaceutical Technology, Jadavpur University for the recruitment of one (1) Project Assistant for JU-RUSA 2.0 sponsored project entitled ''Exploring cholinesterase inhibitory potential of some medicinal plants as Nutraceutical for Alzheimer’s disease" under the supervision of Prof. Pulok Kumar Mukherjee
Essential Qualification : M.Pharm/ M.Sc in Life Science/ Chemistry
Remuneration : Rs 16,000/- + 30% HRA
Age : Not more than 32 years (relaxable up to 05 years in case of SC/ST/OBC/Women/PH candidates)
Tenure : Till termination of the project
Interested candidates may appear in person on the day of the interview with an application in the prescribed format, obtainable from Information Counter of the University between 11:00 am to 4:00 pm. Original and self-attested copies of mark-sheets and certificates are to be produced at the time of interview. No TA/DA is admissible.
