CSIR-Indian Institute of Integrative Medicine, Canal Road Jammu, a premier R&D Institute and a constituent establishment of Council of Scientific & Industrial Research, under the Ministry of Science & Technology, Govt. of India invites applications for the following posts in the prescribed proforma from the Indian Nationals as per details given against each:-
Post: Technical Assistant
No.of post: 1- UR
Upper age limit: Not exceeding 28 years
Pay band/ Grade pay: Rs. 9300-34,800/ -(PB-2) with Grade Pay of Rs. 4200/-
Essential Qualifications & Experience: 1st Class B. Pharmacy with one year full time Professional qualification in Pharma industry from a recognized Institute/Organization.
Desirable Qualification /Experience: Candidate registered for manufacture of ISM drugs with state FDA.
Job Requirement: To assist S&T staff in cGMP Plant
Application must be accompanied by one self attested photograph, synopsis sheet duly filled in the prescribed format, attested copies of certificates and testimonials.
The upper age limit will be reckoned as on 08.09.2015. The upper age-limit is relaxable in case of SCs/STs/OBCs/PH candidates as per Govt. of India rules as under:-.
1. The upper age limit may be relaxed up to 5 years for SCs/STs and 03 years for OBCs as per Government orders in force only in those cases where the posts are reserved for respective categories.
2. SCs/STs/OBCs candidates are required to produce attested copy of community certificate in the prescribed format along with the Application Form.
3. Relaxation in the upper age limit for Physically Handicapped will be 5 years, over and above the relaxation admissible for SCs/STs/OBCs, as the case may be for respective reserved posts, on furnishing of the Disability Certificate (suffering from not less than 40 percent of relevant disability) issued by the competent authority.
4. Candidates belonging to Other Backward Classes (OBCs) must submit the attested photocopy of the current year’s certificate in the Central Govt. prescribed form issued by the specified competent authority (SDO/District Magistrate/ Dy. Commissioner) along with the Application Form. The certificate issued by Gazetted Officers should be countersigned by the District Magistrate or Dy. Commissioner.
5. Relaxation in upper age limit of 5 years is also applicable for persons who had ordinarily been domiciled in the State of J& K during the period of 1.1.1980 to 31.12.1989 subject to production of domicile certificate [certificate must be attached with the application] from the District Magistrate in whose jurisdiction he/she had ordinarily resided OR from any other authority designated for this by the Govt. of J & K State. .
6. The upper age-limit is also relaxable by 5 years in case of Council/Government/Autonomous Bodies/Public Sectors employees as per CSIR Rules.
7. Relaxation in upper age limit & qualification in case of exceptionally meritorious candidates, (both departmental and outsiders) may be considered with the prior approval of competent authority.
8. Applications from employees of Government/Semi-Govt. Departments, Public Sector Undertakings and Autonomous Bodies will be considered only if routed through proper channel.
9. Applications received after the closing date i.e.08.09.2015 will not be entertained. Incomplete applications will be summarily rejected.
10. Mere fulfillment of essential educational qualifications and/or experience does not entitle a candidate to be called for interview. The Institute will decide its own criteria to short-list the applications.
11. Application should be accompanied by a Demand Draft of Rs.100.00 (Rupees One hundred only) drawn in favor of Director, Indian Institute of Integrative Medicine, Jammu, payable at Jammu (Applicant should write his name with parentage at the back of the DD). SCs/STs/PH /Women Candidates and regular employees of CSIR are exempted from payment of application fee.
12. The candidates who want to apply for more than one post may submit separate application form for the same along with all requisite documents and draft.
Essential qualification/Experience shall be reckoned on or before the closing date i.e 08.09.2015
13. Period of experience in a discipline/area of work shall be counted from the date of acquiring of minimum prescribed educational qualification.
14. The positions carry usual allowances as admissible to Central Govt. Employees in the same pay band /Grade Pay posted at Jammu.
Duly completed application should be sent by Registered /Speed Post only in a sealed cover super-scribing “Application for the Post Code No.____/ Area _____“ to The Director, Indian Institute of Integrative, Medicine, Canal Road, Jammu PIN 180 001, so as to reach on or before the closing date 08.09.2015.
The decision of Director, IIIM in all matters relating to selection shall be final and binding on the candidates. Interim enquiries will not be entertained.
Canvassing in any form or bringing any influence, political or otherwise, will be treated as a disqualification.
Check list: Attested copies of following documents must be attached with the application form.
a) Secondary School certificate showing Date of Birth.
b) Diploma/Degree certificate and mark sheets (year/semester wise) in support of essential qualification and any higher qualification.
c) Synopsis sheet duly filled in the prescribed format.
d) Demand Draft of Rs. 100/-.
e) Certificate of SC/ST/OBC/PH/Domicile of J&K, if applicable.
f) One self attested Photograph pasted on the application
g) NOC in the case of Govt. /Autonomous Body/Public sector employees only.
