Technical positions for Biochemistry / Biotechnology / Life Science candidates at NIB Noida

Applications are invited on or before 19/05/2026 from eligible candidates for the following vacancy to be filled at NIB Noida on a purely temporary basis in the project titled “Advance Centre for Clinical Evaluation of Diagnostics of National Importance". Emoluments : 36,400/- (28,000/- +30%HRA)

Essential Qualification : Three years Graduate in Biochemistry/ Biotechnology/ Life Science from recognized university + Three-year experience Or PG in relevant subject from recognized university/Institute

Desirable Qualification and Experience : Hand-on Experience in the following :
• Advanced Molecular biology techniques
• Advanced Knowledge of Bio- informatics
• Experience in development and validation of IVD and Reference Standard
• Knowledge of Guidance document preparation
• Knowledge of Regulatory guidelines (ISO, Drug and Cosmetic Act 1945, and Medical Device Rules 2017)

Scope of work : Coordination with multiple centers (involving various IITs, Medical Colleges etc.) for the preparation of the Guidance documents protocols, and conducting validation studies

Age Limit : The upper age limit is 35 years

Duration : 1 year, initially subjected to performance

Procedure for Recruitment

Terms and Conditions
1. Age relaxation for SC/ST/OBC/PWD/EWS and the Experienced candidate will be as per the rules.
2. The above positions are purely on a temporary contract basis.
3. The Director & Appointing Authority has the right to accept/reject any application without assigning any reason(s) and no correspondence in this matter will be entertained.
4. Age, qualifications, etc. will be reckoned on the date of the Interview.
5. The appointment can be terminated with one month's notice from either side without assigning any reason.
6. Since the posts are temporary; the incumbents selected will have no claim for regular appointment at NIB or continuation of his/ her services in any other project.
7. Other allowances like CCA, LTC, Medical Claims, and PF are not applicable.
8. The recruited project staff is eligible for leave as per ICMR project recruitment rules and will have to give an undertaking before joining.
9. At the time of joining duty, the candidates should bring all original certificates of educational qualifications (from SSC onwards), Experience, Aadhaar Card, Community, and PH certificates (if applicable), passport size photograph along with one set of photocopies of the certificates duly attested (can be self-attested) for verification needs to be submitted.
10. The conditions of employment will be the same as that of the project staff on a contract basis.
