NIVEDI is a premier national institute catering to the needs of surveillance and monitoring of livestock diseases and animal health information in the country. Our focus is on epidemiology, surveillance, forecasting & forewarning, and economics of livestock diseases including zoonoses. Note : Initially, the tenure will be up to the duration of the project or 30.09.2026, whichever is earlier. This will be extendable based on satisfactory performance and fund availability and continuity of the project.
Terms and conditions
1. Any Changes with regard to selection/schedule of interview will be notified at the Institute's website only.
2. For ICMR Projects, the age relaxation up to 5 years may be granted to deserving candidates having experience of working in Government Research Organization on a case- to-case basis. However, the contract for engagement of project staff shall be up to one year, which shall be extendable up to three-years, subject to requirement and performance review.
3. The desirous and eligible candidates fulfilling criteria must bring duly filled application form, original certificates along with one set self-attested copies of certificates / documents for verification at the time of interview.
4. All the eligible candidates attending interview should be present at the Institute campus sharply by 9 AM on the date of interview.
5. Candidates without original certificates/documents will not be allowed to attend the interview.
6. Applications not in prescribed proforma, incomplete are liable to be rejected.
7. The candidate should hold Degree certificate on the date of interview (at least Provisional Certificate), if applicable in original in respect of Graduation, Post-Graduation, Ph.D. (website results/awaiting for results candidates will not be allowed/considered).
8. The above positions are purely on temporary basis.
9. There is no provision for absorption/re-employment after termination of the contract. The service of person, who are engaged, will automatically stand terminated with the termination of the contract. However, selected candidate may be discontinued owing to administrative reasons at any time. The selected candidate may also leave the assignment on their own, by giving one-month notice.
10. Crucial date for determining the age limit will be the date of interview.
11. The Income Tax or any other tax liable to be deducted as per the prevailing rules will bededucted at source before effecting payment of monthly salary.
12. No TA, DA will be paid for attending the interview.
13. Canvassing in any form will lead to cancellation of candidature.
14. The notified vacancies may increase or decrease as per the requirement of the Institute /Project.
15. The Director, ICAR-NIVEDI reserves the right to fill up all the posts or any of them without assigning any reason thereof.
