The Institute of Bioresources and Sustainable Development although registered in April, 2001, under the Manipur Societies Registration Act, 1989, the regular activity of the Institute could be started only with the appointment of its first Director on 18th January, 2003 to achieve the following mission Bioresources development and their sustainable use through biotechnological interventions for the socio-economic growth of the region.
Post : Research Associate - I
Applications are invited from deserved and suitable candidates fur the following post at BRIT-Institute of Bioresources and Sustainable Development (IBSD), Imphal.
Essential Qualification : Ph.D./MD./MS/MDS or equivalent degree or having 3 years research, training and design and development experience.
Desirable : Candidates with experience in operating and maintaining LC-MS instruments and at least one research paper in an SCI journal will be given preference.
Upper Age Limit : 35 (relaxable for reserved categories as per Gol norms).
Fellowship : Rs. 58,000/- + 8% HRA
Emoluments details of research personal mentioned in table shall be applicable only if candidate met educational qualification and eligible criteria as per DST/PCPM/Z-06/2022 dated 26.06.2023. Other terms and conditions will be as per the mentioned OM and Office order issued by the institute from time to time.
1. The above positions are purely temporary and co-terminus with the project. Selected candidates shall not claim for regular appointment either in IBSD, Imphal and its branches or DBT. New Delhi.
2. Selected candidates have to work at IBSD-Imphal.
3. No TA/DA will be paid to attend the interview.

5. A complete set of form can be downloaded from the date of released of the advertisement and prior to one day before the closing date of advertisement i.e., 08/05/2026, by the eligible candidate from address specified below upon payment of a non-refundable fee of Rs. 500/- (Rupees five hundred only) by demand dratt banker’s cheque in favour of Director, IBSD, payable at Imphal, it must accompany with each form and is to be sealed cover superscripted “Post for Research Associate-1" while submitting the form. Form can be downloaded from the institute website www.ibsd.gQv,in . Any form not accompanied with the specified fees shall be rejected.
