Applications are invited from the Indian citizens for filling up the following post of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) under purely time bound project sponsored by the Anusandhan National Research Foundation (ANRF) in the Department of Biotechnology, NIPER Kolkata.
Post : Junior Research Fellow (01 Post)
Project Title : “Design and development of Synthetic Bispecific Aptamer Constructs to Redirect T-cells for Precision Immunotherapy of Oral Squamous Cell Carcinoma”
Description of the project : “The project aims to engineer bispecific aptamer (DNA as well as peptide aptamers) constructs for precision therapy and evaluate their efficacy through comprehensive in vitro and in vivo studies.”
Upper age limit (Yr) : 35
Educational qualification and experience/skill : • Post Graduate Degree, including the integrated PG degree in Medicinal Chemistry or Life Sciences [M.Sc./MS(Pharm.)/Equivalent]
Desirable : Candidate having experience in Peptide Synthesis/Organic Synthesis/Molecular Biology Techniques
Salary (Rs) : 37,000/- with admissible HRA
Terms and conditions :
1. The above position is purely contractual in nature.
2. The tenure is 36 months with annual evaluation and renewal or the termination of the project, whichever is earlier. The continuation of the fellowship will be subject to the satisfactory performance.
3. The Selected candidate will not be entitled to claim for regular appointment/absorption in the institute.
4. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
5. Applications reaching after specified time may not be entertained.
6. GPAT/NET/GATE (qualification only) is mandatory.
7. Canvassing in any form will disqualify the candidature.
