Online registration started for NIPER Joint Entrance Examination 2020 for Masters in Pharmacy

The Government of India through an Act of Parliament, notified on 26th June 1998 , the First National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research (NIPER) in the country at S.A.S Nagar (Mohali) as a Centre of Excellence for imparting higher education, research and development in pharmaceutical sciences and management. During the years 2007 and 2008, Government of India established six more NIPERs.

ONLINE ENTRANCE TEST (Computer Based Test)
1. The online test shall be conducted on 14th June 2020, at the following centres: AHMEDABAD, SURAT, RAJKOT, BENGALURU, BHOPAL, CHENNAI, CHANDIGARH, DEHRADUN, GUWAHATI, HYDERABAD, JAIPUR, KOLKATA, LUCKNOW, MUMBAI, NAGPUR, NEW DELHI, THIRUVANANTHAPURAM, PUNE,AGRA, VIJAYAWADA, CO IMBATORE, PATNA, RANCHI, RAIPUR, BHUBANESHWAR, MADURAI, JAMMU, VARANASI and AMRITSAR.

NOTE : The centres may be altered if sufficient number of candidates does not register for a particular city. No TA/DA will be paid for attending test / counselling /group discussion /interview. Candidates have to make their own arrangement for stay during on line test/counselling /group discussion/ interview.
2. The permission granted to the candidates to appear in on line test /counselling /Group Discussion (GD) and interview is merely provisional. Final consideration of the candidature is subject to fulfilment of the eligibility criteria to be verified at the time of counselling and/or GD and Interview
3. There will be a common paper for all Masters Programs including M.B.A. (Pharm.). The question paper will consist of 200 objectives multiple type choice questions. The level of questions will be of B.Pharm. And M. Sc. (relevant field). A few questions will be from general aptitude. Duration of the examination will be 2 hours.
4. There will be negative marking in the on line test. 25% marks will be deducted for each wrong answer. The result of the online test will be declared on the official Website of the Institute (niperahm.ac.in) within 10 days of test.
