The arrival of Paxlovid in December 2021 marked another turning point in the COVID-19 pandemic—an effective antiviral that has since successfully treated millions. But like many antivirals before it, scientists know that at some point, Paxlovid is likely to lose some efficacy due to drug resistance. Researchers working to stay ahead of such emerging threats have now identified a wholly new way to treat SARS-CoV-2 infections—work that may have even broader implications.

The Board has proposed to conduct the recruitment examination for the above contractual posts on the possible date 02.06.2025 to 13.06.2025 through Computer Based Test, Textlet Based Test, Offline OMR based examination. Detailed information regarding the examination will be given separately through the Board's website and press release. The Board reserves the right to change the date and place of the examination.

The WISE-IPR programme a programme of the Department of Science and Technology offers training in different fields of Intellectual Property Rights. This one- year training programme provides theoretical knowledge of IPRs as well as on-the-job training at various centers in the country.

The candidate must have a Post Graduate Degree in Life Science, Biotechnology, Biochemistry. The Candidates should have qualified National Eligibility Test – CSIR-UGC NET including Lectureship or Graduate Aptitude test in Engineering or National Level Examination conducted by Central Government Departments and their Agencies.

Hands on experience in physicochemical characterization, solid state characterization, polymorph screening and salt screening techniques is must. Should have good knowledge on industrial crystallization procedures and drug substance manufacturing process.
