The Tata Medical Center (TMC) is a multispecialty institution for tertiary cancer care based in New Town, Kolkata. At TMC, clinical and research activities are integrated to provide state-of-the-art care for patients with cancer. This integration is enabled by the Tata Translational Cancer Research Centre (TTCRC), the research arm of TMC. TTCRC is within a dedicated academic space and spread over 3 floors. At TTCRC, a multidisciplinary team of clinicians, scientists, academics and industry professionals collaborate to develop a systems medicine approach in cancer research.

“Estimating Incremental cost of treating antimicrobial Resistant infection in India” (ICMR-AMR-MDR Economics Study)

Applications are invited for the project entitled “Estimating Incremental cost of treating antimicrobial Resistant infection in India” project. This project is of 3 months duration. The posts are purely temporary.


Age : 35

Essential Qualification : 1st class degree in life sciences from recognized university with 2 years’ experience in related field or second class master’s degree with PhD in relevant subject from recognized university or BDS/B.V.Sc degree with one year experience.


Desirable Qualification : Public Health OR Experience with Antimicrobial Resistance studies

Job Responsibilities :
•  He /She will be responsible for coordination with site nodal officer, site PI, pharmacist and nurse.
• Identification of cases and controls. QA and QC extracted data and interview of cases and control of prospective components.

Consolidated Salary : Rs. 54,300 per month

It is mandatory:
Application preferably is submitted in the prescribed format (as given below) along with email address, proof of age, caste certificate, and Qualification and experience certificate. Candidates belonging to OBC should enclose the OBC Non –Creamy/ Creamy Layer certificate for appointment under Government of India (from the competent authority empowered to issue such certificate) at the time of Interview. Government Servants should apply through proper channel or enclose ‘No Objection Certificate’ from the present office/employer along with the application. Any canvassing by or on behalf of the candidates or bringing political or other influence with regards to the selection shall be considered as a disqualification.

Age and experience are relaxable in deserving candidates. These posts are to be filled for defined project period only.
