Pharmaceutical Chemistry

The Laboratory was established in 1941 as a research and production centre, known as Drug Research Laboratory of J&K State and was later taken over by Council of Scientific & Industrial Research (CSIR) of Govt. of India in December 1957 as Regional Research Laboratory, Jammu. In view of its core strength in natural products based drug discovery, the mandate of Institute was redefined in 2005 and its name changed to Indian Institute of Integrative Medicine (IIIM).

TARIFA MEMORIAL INSTITUTE OF PHARMACY is the pioneer institution conducting Pharmacy courses in the State of West Bengal. It is an independent, co-educational and self-financed institution offering Diploma, program.The Institute is situated in choa, along the side of the Berhampur -Amtala Rd, 3kms ahead of hariharpara, the town of Murshidabad and 23 kms away from Berhampur, West Bengal capital of West Bengal.

NIPER Ahmedabad was initiated with three specializations Biotechnology, Natural Products and Pharmaceutics and over the period of time three more specializations Pharmaceutical Analysis, Medicinal Chemistry and Pharmacology and Toxicology were added in 2010. Subsequently in 2011, to cater the needs of Medical device industry in India, another feather was added to the cap of NIPER Ahmedabad in the form of specialization in Medical Devices.

Jagan Nath University, Jaipur has been established by an Act of the Rajasthan State Legislature (Act No. 19 of 2008) on April 16, 2008, approved under section 2(f) by the UGC Act, 1956, accredited by NAAC (2nd Cycle) with "A" grade in 2022 and is member of the Association of Indian Universities (AIU). National Forensic Sciences University, the erstwhile Gujarat Forensic Sciences University is the brain child of Govt of Gujarat. It was established by the Hon’ble Prime Minister of India Shri. Narendra Modiji, then Chief Minister of Gujarat in 2009 with a sole objective of creating professional experts in the field of Forensic sciences. At a juncture of spiking number of crimes involving sophisticated technologies and much evolved modus operandi, there was a need for scientists and technocrats.

CSIR-National Botanical Research Institute (NBRI) – is amongst one of the constituent research institutes of the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR), New Delhi. Originally set up as the National Botanic Gardens (NBG) by the State Government of Uttar Pradesh (U.P.), it was taken over by the CSIR in 1953. CSIR- National Botanical Research Institute (NBRI), Lucknow is a constituent laboratory of Council of Scientific & Industrial Research (CSIR). CSIR-NBRI undertakes basic and applied research in important areas of plant sciences.
