THSTI

The Department of Biotechnology, Ministry of Science & Technology (Government of India) has established the Translational Health Science and Technology Institute (THSTI), an autonomous institution, as a part of the interdisciplinary Health Biotech Science Cluster, in the National Capital Region. The institution is designed to be a dynamic and intera ctive organization with a mission to conduct innovative translational research and develop research collaborations across disciplines and professions to accelerate the extension of concepts to the improvement of human health.

Translational Health Science and Technology Institute (THSTI) , India and the International AIDS Vaccine I nitiative (IAVI), USA have set up a collaborative program to accelerate and advance HIV vaccine research and development. The program is an integral part of the THSTI cluster of research centers and linked to global network of R&D facilities, including IAVIs Neutralizing Antibody Consortium (NAC) and IAVI Design and Development lab, situated in Brooklyn, New York.

Clinical Development Services Agency (CDSA) is an extramural unit of THSTI and has been established as a not-for-profit society to provide cost effective, high quality preclinical and clinical product development support services to meet the country's growing healthcare needs. It will tend enterprises - particularly SMEs involved in new technology innovation and facilitate translation of scientific know-how into viable products.

Translational Health Science and Technology Institute (THSTI) is a part of the inter-disciplinary Biotech Science Cluster coming up at Faridabad in the National Capital Region (NCR). The interim laboratories of the Institute are located at Gurgaon in the NCR. THSTI is designed to be a dynamic and interactive organization with a mission to conduct innovative translational research and develop research collaborations across disciplines and professions to accelerate the development of concepts into tangible products to improve human health.

TRANSLATIONAL HEALTH SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY INSTITUTE (THSTI) is an autonomous Institute of the Department of Biotechnology under the Ministry of Science and Technology, Govt. of India. THSTI has been developed as a part of the interdisciplinary Health biotech Science cluster to be located at Faridabad which is a part of the National Capital Region. The Institute is being mentored by globally recognized National Institute of Immunology (NII) and the Harvard-MIT Division of Health Science and Technology (HM-HST).
