The Laboratory was established in 1941 as a research and production centre, known as Drug Research Laboratory of J&K State and was later taken over by Council of Scientific & Industrial Research (CSIR) of Govt. of India in December 1957 as Regional Research Laboratory, Jammu. In view of  its core strength in natural products based drug discovery, the mandate of  Institute was redefined in 2005 and its name changed to Indian Institute of Integrative Medicine.

The Central University of Rajasthan has been established by an Act of Parliament (Act No. 25 of 2009) as a new Central University, and is fully funded by the Government of India. The President of India, Her Excellency Smt. Droupadi Murmu, is the Visitor of the CURAJ. Prof. Anand Bhalerao is the Vice Chancellor of the University. CURAJ is located in Ajmer district of Rajasthan.

In 1978, Centaur Pharmaceuticals, commenced pharmaceutical manufacturing operations in Mumbai and has now evolved into a vertically integrated pharmaceutical company. Centaur House, our corporate headquarters, is located in Mumbai, the commercial capital of India. Centaur has a strong matrix of capabilities across the pharmaceutical value chain including API, formulations, Contract Research and Manufacturing Services, Clinical Research, R&D, regulatory and marketing.

The National Institute of Animal Nutrition and Physiology (NIANP) was established on 24th November 1995 at Bangalore under the aegis of Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR), New Delhi. The Institute is mandated to conduct basic and fundamental research with respect to animal feed resource management using physiological-nutritional approaches to improve animal productivity and profitability of livestock farmers.
