NIAB, an autonomous institute under the aegis of the Department of Biotechnology, Ministry of Science & Technology, Government of India, is aimed to harness novel and emerging biotechnologies and create knowledge in the cutting edge areas for improving animal health and productivity. The Institute’s research focus is on animal genetics and genomics, transgenesis, stem cell & its applications, reproductive biotechnology, infectious diseases, nanotechnology, bioinformatics and Nutrigenomics.

Gujarat Biotechnology University is a new post graduate university established by the Gujarat Biotechnology University Act 2018. The National Dope Testing Laboratory (NDTL), an autonomous body, Government of India, is a premier scientific Institute and one of the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA)-Accredited Laboratories dedicated to human sports dope testing & allied research. This is the only Laboratory of its kind in the country having state-of-the-art facilities. It is equipped with latest and sophisticated analytical equipment including LC-Orbitrap-HRMS, GC/C/RMS, Sysmex XN 1000, Cobas e 411 etc.

National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research (NIPER), Kolkata, is an Institute of National importance under the Department of Pharmaceuticals, Ministry of Chemicals & Fertilizers, Government of India. NIPER Kolkata is involved in the development of new process for chiral small molecule and antisense oligonucleotide (ASO) based therapeutics against rare diseases.
