Madhya Pradesh Public Health Services Corporation Limited (MPPHSCL) is a Public Company incorporated on March 06, 2014. It is classified as State Government Company and is registered at Registrar of Companies, Gwalior. Its authorized share capital is Rs. 20,00,00,000 and its paid-up capital is Rs. 10,00,00,000. It is involved in Human health activities. One of the key objectives of the MPPHSCL is to act as the central procurement agency for all essential drugs and equipment for all public healthcare institutions under the department.

Central Drug Testing Laboratory is one of the Seven National Laboratories in India engaged in the research and analysis of Drug and Cosmetics as per Drug and Cosmetics Act, 1940.

The journey of Indian Agricultural Research Institute (IARI), popularly known as Pusa Institute, began in 1905 at Pusa Bihar with the generous grant of 30,000 pounds from an American philanthropist, Mr. Henry Phipps. The institute was then known as Agricultural Research Institute (ARI) which functioned with five departments, namely Agriculture, Cattle Breeding, Chemistry, Economic Botany and Mycology. Bacteriology unit was added in 1907.

IIT Ropar community has undertaken an important exercise of developing the Mission, Vision and Strategic Plan for the coming years. The exercise was carried out in active consultation with Indian Institute of Management Calcutta who have got technical expertise in this area. A participative bottom up approach was followed in formulating the Mission, Vision and Strategic Plan. Inputs from the entire IIT Ropar fraternity, MHRD, Board of Governors, Alumni and Industries were considered in the process.

The National Institute of Biologicals (NIB) had been set up in 1992. NIB is an apex autonomous institute under the administrative control of Ministry of Health & Family Welfare (MoHFW), Government of India. The Institute is performing primary statutory function of Quality Control of Biologicals e.g. Insulin, erythropoietin, blood products, diagnostic kits e.g. HIV, HBV, HCV, therapeutic monoclonal antibodies like Trastuzumab and Rituximab used in cancer treatment etc. in accordance with provisions of Drugs & Cosmetics Act 1940 and Rule 1945 amended from time to time.
